Dear Student Affiliates of Emory Buddhist Club,
This coming spring there will be a course in the religion department on Religion, Healing, and Buddhist Meditation. REL 358R/HLTH 385-009 is taught regularly by Geshe Lobbing Tenzin Negi. Many of you will know him from his visit to the Buddhist Club this semester, his groundbreaking work as the Director of the Emory-Tibet Partnership, his guidance in the Tibetan Mind-Body Sciences study-abroad program in Dharmsala, India, or his leadership of Drepung Loseling Monastery here in Atlanta. Geshe Lobbing is a truly skilled and inspiring teacher. If you are interested in the intersection of Buddhist-style meditation and health, this course is for you.
